Overcoming Objections

We have all had a customer or client tell us “No” in a polite sort of way.

I can’t have a party because….
I can’t buy this without asking my spouse…
The economy is really hurting me right now….
My house isn’t clean enough….
My goldfish died…

You have heard so many different reasons, but have you gotten your responses in place for when they do come?

Scripting a response in situation like this is a really good idea. You know the types of excuses you get. So script the answers with questions. You won’t cave at the sound of a negative response and can actually make some additional sales this way. Practice on a friend or in a mirror.

Turning a negative into a positive, now that’s cool!

  1. Hi Chris…your blog looks great!

Scripting is a good thing to practice. Let your potential hostesses know its a fun girl’s night out, a great way to get together with friends they haven’t seen in a long time!

  2. Chris scripting is a great recommendation. I am so afraid of the no, I never make the effort. But by preparing a scriipt, I’m also preparing to be successful. What a lightbulb moment. Making it fun is a great scripting suggestion also Linda.

  3. I love it! WoHoo! Lightbulb moments are the bomb. Congrats, GF. Let me know how it works for you.
