If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I have done a bit of housecleaning at DirectSalesTalk as you can probably see. I have combined my website and my blog into one site.
Now some folks would probably say that was a foolish thing to do, but to me with is totally worth it. I spent most of my time on my blog, keeping it fresh and updated with new Direct Sales Articles and posts about direct sales and the like.
I also have included my Direct Sales Tips that come to your inbox weekly or when ever I have something good to say. And I also have brought back to this new and updated site, my Exclusive Partner pages. This was only available on my website for years and I have renewed the info and brought it over to this new combined site.
I hope that this format will be enjoyable for you. I want to keep the infomation and articles available in the easyist format and I think this is it.
Let me know your thoughts!

My friend Tara at Green Tip of the Day is reporting a few other green blogs that are getting together and helping other charities that are experiencing decreased donations.
Here is a quote from the main article located at The Good Human -
“The message is that there are great organizations out there which are suffering in this economic downturn through decreased donations…and they need our help! So we have decided to give you, our readers, a voice and a choice. We have decided to take on a very simple fundraising mission, and we are asking you to donate just $1.00.
A single dollar; that’s all. ”
Head over now and donate one single dollar… or more if you choose. We can make a difference collectively. You can even vote what charity will get the funds.
Take a minute now… Thank you ! Here’s the direct link again. These guys ROCK! The Good Human

It has been a long fall and winter for me and my family. My business was hit hard by the economy and I watched my commissions go lower and lower and our finances get scarier and scarier. Our savings were completely emptied as well.
But with outstanding faith and commitment to God and knowing that a job will come that is just right and perfect, it has finally happened. Today I recieved a job offer and I just knew this was the right one. I had felt really good about the interview process and knew I nailed it.
Since I have many years experience in sales and outside sales, that is where I have been applying myself. I will be continuing to work in that field and that is good news for you. As I learn and grow more and more, I will be sharing even more tips and tricks with you and tailor them to the direct sales world.
I am excited to start on this new endevor and can’t wait to see what comes!

Today is Blog Action day. It marks a day where millions of people across the world unite in posting about a cause close to their heart. This year, it is poverty.
Poverty surrounds us all, whether we see it or not. We have the homeless, some choose it, most do not. We have the working poor, who are lucky to get one meal on the table each day. We have the millions around the world that we try and feed as well. What is in your town? How can you help?
Personally, I work with a non profit that is teaming up with others in our town to run huge food drives to try and get food to those that are hungry. We have churches that feed kids during the summer. We have groups that feed the elderly and the homeless.
But what about jobs and income that are important to keep poverty away? I can only pray for our leaders that they will find a way to keep jobs coming to this area and that those that are in need can find a job. It is a circle that can be influenced by us, one way or another.
What can you do for your neighbor?

If you are a member of Facebook, Come and join my walking team called Girl Power! I am tracking how far I have walked for better heart health. I wish I had found this when I started walking several months ago, but today is a great day to Start! In partnership with the American Heart Association, Start is a program geared to getting us up off our bootay’s!
Come and join me! Start! on Facebook with the Girl Power Team!

Well as you can see, I have a new theme going up, so please bear with me as we work out the kinks in it. This is a pretty different animal. LOL, but I think I am going to like it once I figure it all out!

As a small businessperson, you have no greater leverage than the truth.
John Greenleaf Whittier
You know what really sucks is that I jot down all these great ideas for posts, articles and weekly tips and such because I can’t remember this mornings breakfast anymore, but now I can’t remember where I put my list. So I guess the tip for today will be use the same notebook to write down your thoughts, goals and not scraps of paper somewhere on your desk. GRRRR
Does this mean I am suggesting organization in your office? NOOOooooo!! Am I getting senile? Old?…. *sigh*
