Is Your Business Stuck in Limbo?

If you have been in business a while, you may have felt like your business was in limbo.  Every idea you try doesn’t seem to grow your business.  You have been advertising, networking and partying your heart out.  What the heck is going on?  You are becoming frustrated and your business is floundering because of it.

Well, before you make any drastic decisions, Ask For Help!  Turn to those that see your work style and ethics.  Mainly your husband (or spouse) and close family and friends.

I am sure I lost a few of you right there!  What!!  Ask my Husband??  He is just going to tell me I am wasting my time.  He is going to make me go back to working somewhere FT and stick my kids in daycare!  I can’t ask my husband!

Hold on ladies!  Believe it or not, your spouse Wants you to be successful.  They Like having you home, cooking their dinner and keeping the house up and raising the kids instead of someone else.  They have as much at stake as you do.  And, they can see what we as business women may not be able to see, Another side of our business.

Approach him as a business person and you may get the type of response you need to enhance and grow your business.  Asking them their opinion on how or the most efficient way to advertise may bring you a slew of ideas you never thought of.  Asking his opinion on networking and contacting new people may find and open doors you never realized would be a good avenue.  Do the same thing with other family and friends.  A lot of people think outside the Box and we sometimes get so caught up in the day to day, we forget to open the lid to see the daylight.

Asking for help does not mean we are not capable women.  It means that we know our limitations and sometimes a breath of fresh air can do wonders for the life of our business and our focus.  Fling off the Box Tops and Enjoy!!
